a place to live.

So my mommy is making the trip to Houghton/Hancock today to look at a rental property for us. That'll happen 6pm tonight (3pm my time). I am very anxious i just opened Patrick's email and there is a 2yr lease attached to an email in there. *yikes* I am super nervous about signing something like that without really seeing the place and what if something better comes along. But i guess that can always happen ya know, so eventually you just gotta take it. I trust my mother opinion and i know she will not lead us wrong. Rent is $850 which for 'rent' is alright it's on the higher end of what we wanted to pay as our BAH drops by over $600 when moving there. Just wanna make sure we are living well within our means, don't wanna 'f' ourselves over. Living on post we don't have to worry about the additional bills like water, heat..garbage ext. We have to pay on electricity only because we always go over what they allow you to use. So when we move, gunna try those energy bulbs and really make sure we turn lights off and what not.

We still have over a month til we get there-- are we being impulsive by getting this place? should we look at more?! Or why look further if we do like it. Or if we DO like we should just stop looking and be happy so we don't stress. Ugh i'm just nervous. Patrick has emailed SO many people and everyone only wants to rent students at the local college.. this person wants to rent to a family over students. To me that makes more sence. Then last night i got more info-- i guess there is NOT two bathroom there is only one on the floor with the bedrooms. Then there is a "toilet" in the basment. --with out even seeing it i have named "the scary toilet".. because i imagine one of those storage type only basments with a scary icky toilet in the corner lol. I REALLY wanted a place with MORE then one bathroom.. Ugh i guess i should just stop stressing and wait for this all to go down. COME ON 3PM!

thanks to my Mommy & her boyfriend for doing this for us though--
