well we have started packing, both sheds are cleaned out all 3 bedrooms and closets, it's just finishing up the living room and kitchen now. We started out with a rental truck of 20 feet, well after a mock packing in the living using duct tape to mark out dimesions we realized that wasn't going to cut it and now have a 26 foot truck reserved. Thats a big effing truck to drive over the rocky mountains. We have bought our 2 way radios (walkie-talkies). Hopefully those are easier then trying to dial each other everytime we need a quick thing to say and also help guiding that massive thing through smaller towns.
pre-inspection on the house is tomorrow, thurday we pick up the truck, friday is final inspection and then saturday morning we leave. Friday night we'll have to stay in a hotel or something. The first day of travel i'm hoping to crash out in Montana- thats 9 hours of driving then figure in our stops and thats a gooooood long day of travel. Leaving Washington Saturday morning and hoping to get to Upper Michigan Wednesday... straight driving its 30 hours together so to break that over 4 days should work- if it doesn't thats fine we have the u-haul for 8 days. Still no detours or fun sightseeing this time.
Patrick is doing a great job packing up the house i am doing little bits of packing, no lifting and any of that . The stress is still getting to me however, having bh's in good bundles tonight. I do alot more of directing traffic. We have decided not to take along our washer/dryer as they are on there way out anyways-- no hastle then worth. Also we are not taking our plates..the set is 6 yrs old have lost nearly half the set now. Cups even though set is less then a yr old we have managed to break a good number and cups are like $15 a box for a decent enough set.
Until friday we will all be camped out in the nearest bedroom to the main section of the house.. Emm will have her mattress tossed in there too.
Gotta start deep cleaning as well to pass inspections and hopefully not have to pay for anything, i know when Emm decided to plug in the iron and then tip it over on the carpet and then several mins later THEN decide to tell us what she did. yeah that'll cost us a pretty penny. Then some blinds are messed up and i think that about it. We only pained Emm's room and it only need a coat of primer so thats already in the works to be taken care of. I thnk patrick said he wanted to do that tonight.
O' and food lol-- we are trying to eat whats left of the house so we don't have to get rid of/toss so much. It's quite funny putting together end bits of everything and trying to make meals.
All of Emm's toys are packed up and the only things left out are her tech stuff-- Nintendo DS and all those type of things. We found her a new game for it which she is really into.. they had a WonderPets game at Wal*Mart :) We've got her a travel cup (so no open glasses in the car).. sun shades as she is a vampire and hates the sun on her she can watch her movies in the car too that Patrick jacked off the internet lol.
Got one of those frozen lasagnas in the oven-- its a late dinner tonight.
Despite all that Patrick still has full days finishing up clearing post and all that.. stress and thinking about living our of suitcases and jumping from place to place over this next bit. Just very ready to be done with this.
